a) I accept to abide by all of the following rules.
b) I accept that I will abide by the StormIRC server rules (type /rules) when connected.
c) I accept that by not following the MerryMen and StormIRC rules and regulations I may be banned or have my access removed from any individual channel or the entire server as a whole, other measures such as forcefully disconnecting and 'kicking' me out of individual channels may also be used.
a) I will not post any pornographic, discriminatory, offensive or any other material that may be deemed innapropriate by any individual on any individual channel and/or in a private message between any one or multiple person(s).
b) I will not purposely upset/insult/annoy any individual user or group of users on the chat.
c) I will not advertise in private message between any user(s) or in any individual channels. This rule also extends to memos, notices and any other feature that is used to communicate privately or publicly on the chat.
i) Advertising can be deemed as the posting of URLs and other chat channels/servers.
ii) The most senior member of the IRC Staff available has the final say in deeming what is and what isn't advertising.
iii) Link posting/promoting/advertising any other online community/forum is considered advertising.
d) All messages must adhere to the IRC Network rules that can be found by typing '/rules' when connected to IRC.
e) Any members with nicknames that are similarly written to staff nicknames or names like 'Chanop' or 'MerryMenAdmin' will be forcefully disconnected from the server, repeat offenders will be banned.
i) Also any nicknames that are deemed offensive by any individual users / IRC Staff will be forcefully disconnected / banned from the server.
ii) If you are unsure about what is considered offensive/rude then don't hesitate to ask a member of the IRC Staff's opinion.
a) MerryMen Forums do not own StormIRC which is the server we host our chat on. All users are obliged to follow the StormIRC rules, which can be found by typing '/rules' when connected.
b) StormIRC and it's staff members reserve the right to interfeer or punish any members of MerryMen Forums, their decisions will be fully supported by the MerryMen Team.
i) To find a list of online Server Staff for StormIRC type '/ircops' anywhere or type '!ircops' in any channel that has a StormIRC distributed bot. (MerryBot is a StormIRC distributed bot).
